Dubai World Trade Center - UAE's first square cabin hospital officially opened
The Dubai World Trade Center Exhibition Hall was closed in March and reopened a month later. With the development of the global epidemic, the Dubai World Trade Centre, which Chinese exhibitors are most familiar with, has been converted into a sheltered hospital that can accommodate up to 3,000 patients with new crowns.
On Thursday, April 16, some of the 1,000 beds were opened to receive the first patients. We can see that each single-open standard booth is used as a semi-independent treatment unit.
The construction of two other sheltered hospitals in Dubai is also intensifying, and will provide thousands of beds to cope with the possibility of more infected people.
Strict restrictions on going out are also being implemented. At present, there are more than 5,000 confirmed cases of the new crown in the UAE. It is expected that the new crown epidemic will be effectively controlled within three to four weeks, and a turnaround will occur.
Let's wait for the day when Dubai World Trade Center "sealed".
