세린(Serine)은 화학식이 HO2CCH(NH2)CH2OH인 유기화합물이다. 일반적으로 동물성 단백질에서 발견되는 20개의 아미노산 중 하나이며 포유류 단백질에서는 유일하게 L형 입체 이성질체만 발견된다. 이것은 불필수아미노산이며 체내에서 다른 대사 산물들(예를 들면 글리신)로부터 합성될 수 있다.
